Challenges we aim to address

  • Reduce the digital literacy gap: improve digital competencies, skills and values among students, teachers, parents and guardians.
  • Promote responsible use: provide guidelines on how to use GenAI for education while maintaining academic integrity and originality.
  • Preserving human connections: ensuring AI complements, rather than replaces, the social and mentorship roles essential to teaching.

Our focus

  • Interdisciplinary Research: Analyzing AI’s impact on secondary schools (ages 11-18) with insights from technology, psychology, pedagogy, economics, and policy experts.
  • Students-centered approach: understanding how GenAI can enrich students’ learning experiences and originality while maintaining academic integrity.
  • Master GenAI knowledge for educators: supporting teachers to master GenAI knowledge, skills and and values of responsible use to maintain their wellbeing and work-life balance.
  • Engaging parents and guardians: Actively involving parents and guardians in the conversation, listening to their perspectives, and concerns and incorporating their insights for a well-rounded approach.
